Peter is responsible for investment, select, research and strategy for Hallador’s value oriented, fundamental, research intensive domestic equities fund. He also sits on Hallador’s Investment Committee and contributes to researching and selecting private and public investments for other Hallador Funds. Prior to joining Hallador in 2020, Peter spent 8 years as a senior research analyst at Spitfire Capital, a value-oriented, concentrated hedge fund based in San Francisco and Durant Partners, a long/short hedge fund based in New York City. Prior to shifting to investing in public markets, Peter spent three years at First Reserve, which is an energy-focused private equity firmed based in Greenwich, CT. Peter started his finance career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers in their Financial Sponsors group. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University.
