Mackenzie’s responsibilities include research and diligence on our portfolio companies, performance reporting and other research and investment related tasks. Before joining Hallador in 2022, Mackenzie was a student at UNR and a law clerk at law firm Carlson & Work, where she conducted legal research, drafted court orders, and assisted staff in legal projects. Mackenzie holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Nevada, Reno, graduating magna cum laude. Mackenzie has lived in Northern Nevada for over 20 years and has deep ties to the Reno community. She attended high school and college in Reno and comes from a family with strong local roots, with her parents and extended family still calling the area home. Mackenzie enjoys spending time with family and embracing the Northern Nevada lifestyle.
