Kevin sets Hallador’s strategic direction, maintains a strong culture, and oversees the Investment Committee and execution of the firm. Kevin was previously Hallador’s President, Chief Financial Officer, and an investment analyst. He is an active Board Director and LPAC member at multiple Hallador portfolio companies and funds. Prior to joining Hallador in 2015, Kevin spent five years as an investment analyst and key early team member with Spitfire Capital in San Francisco, a value-oriented, fundamental, research-intensive hedge fund. He also managed Spitfire’s accounting, operations, marketing, compliance and trading activities. Kevin started his career at Grant Thornton, a global accounting and advisory services firm, where he most recently served as a Manager in the business valuation group. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Santa Clara University, and was on the men’s rowing team.
